Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Director to lead and oversee our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology trends, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive technical innovation. As a Technical Director at PixelPai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical vision of our products, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our platform, and leading our team to achieve new heights in technological excellence. In addition, you will be expected to get your hands dirty and actively code alongside managing the team, building the foundation of our complex platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable backend services and APIs. Provide architectural vision and leadership for backend development.
Hands-On Development: Actively participate in coding, debugging, and development tasks, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of backend engineers, offering guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the applications, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive user data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Technical Documentation: Document technical specifications, architectural designs, processes, and workflows to ensure clear understanding and knowledge sharing across the team.
Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new solutions and approaches to maintain our platform’s competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably as a Technical Director or CTO.
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects in high-growth environments.
Extensive experience with backend technologies, distributed ledger technology, and AI integration.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and project management tools.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in coding, with a willingness to actively participate in development tasks.
Experience in FinTech, blockchain, or related industries is a significant advantage.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with server-side application development, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
Proficiency with various databases, understanding both relational and NoSQL paradigms.
Generalist knowledge across a wide range of backend technologies, including experience with different API styles, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools.
Experience with cloud platforms, leveraging cloud services to enhance application performance and scalability.
In-depth understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and web3 principles.
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for building maintainable, scalable systems.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Leadership and Teamwork: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, work effectively in a collaborative environment, and drive projects to successful completion.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and project requirements, with a willingness to get hands dirty and lead by example in coding and development tasks.
