We are looking for an innovative and experienced Data Scientist to join our cutting-edge team. This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to extract valuable insights from complex datasets. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to develop data-driven solutions that address critical business challenges and drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze large-scale blockchain datasets
- Develop machine learning models to detect patterns, anomalies, and trends in blockchain transactions
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support blockchain-related projects and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and data science techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning particularly with a focus on prescriptive analytics
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency ecosystems
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages for data science
- Proficiency with various databases, understanding both relational and NoSQL paradigms.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with blockchain data extraction and analysis tools (e.g., Dune, Space and Time, or similar platforms)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graph analysis and network visualization tools
- Knowledge of smart contract analysis and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols
- Experience with anti-money laundering and fraud detection algorithms
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the cryptocurrency space
- Published research or contributions to open-source blockchain projects
